Slush

Slush is a founder-focused startup and venture event held every November in Helsinki. It is a not-for-profit, run by students and recent graduates with about 1,600 volunteers, and owned by the Finnish Startup Foundation (Startup-säätiö), which puts most of any profit back into the local ecosystem. Around the two-day main event at Messukeskus it runs an Investor Day (Finlandia Hall), the Slush 100 pitch competition (€500k equity-free prize), hundreds of side events, and Slush x RAISE , a Fund I–III emerging-manager pitch day co-hosted with RAISE Global . Year-round it runs the Slush Platform (meeting tool) and Slush'D satellite events.
